Hello, I am a German woman and I am 32 years old.

I became aware of this website through a German-language forum which deals with BID. I have been convinced since 2018 that I am affected by BID. I have the desire to become completely blind, without any light perception. Since the age of 15, I have been very interested in the subject of blindness, and I have consumed literature and movies which deal with this subject. As a result, as I have gotten older, the desire has arisen in me to also become blind myself. I believe that I should have been born as a blind person, and I feel very comfortable pretending to be blind. In my free time I am involved in a sports club for blind and visually impaired people, and I have studied education for the blind. I very much enjoy performing everyday actions such as preparing meals, watching TV, getting dressed, going to the toilet, etc. with my eyes closed.
